1. Sector Repair.

In some events we can repair sectors in a non destructive way in order to rescue the data off the drive. This takes attaching the drive to our recovery terminals in our lab and performing the tests to see if this is possible.

1. Transplant Data recovery.

This Procedure comes into place when we have to perform a procedure that’s requires us to either replace parts or take platters out to be read in a machine. This Procedure requires a lot of careful handling and mechanical work. Sometimes we get a hard drive with just a shorted out board or a bad drive with a bad spindle or motor. We can determine what it takes to get that data off it and perform those functions.

1. Viral Removal and Damage Repair.

In the event that a virus has destroyed data we take the drive and first make sure the firmware is still intact, if not we re-flash the firmware of the drive, then perform a very eloquent virus removal and then restore destroyed from the hard drive. In most cases we don’t have to flash the firmware of the hard drive but it has happened.
